On March 5, 2018 we opened our mission call and were pleased to learn that we would be serving in Sierra Leone, Africa.  That was nearly 4 months ago.  The time has now come that we will take leave of our home and our family and begin an exciting, yet humbling mission.  We have had many friends ask if we will be publishing a blog or a monthly email.  As we were leaving the temple one day earlier in June, the spirit spoke to me, and the words are indelibly imprinted on my soul.  “Your mission will be as important to the people here as it will be to the people there”.  To that end, we have created this blog to share with you our experiences as we live them.  Our hope is that what you find here will be both inspiring and informative and that it will answer the spirit’s call to share with our friends here at home, what we are experiencing in Africa.
